Written for the Array Ensemble as part of the Array Young Composers Workshop 2017.

Premiered 27 May 2017 at Array Space, Toronto, ON.

Drawing on the title of a short story by Jorge Luis Borges, this piece explores the unfolding of small changes over time as materials are recycled and rediscovered. Gestures are spatialized in the performance space to further contribute to this effect.
